Matsuyama historical park まつやまれきしこうえん
Culture area where the history of Matsuyama feudal clan is fragrant
It is opened in May, 1982 and succeeds to the history and culture of Matsuyama district having the history as Matsuyama feudal clan, and, at interchange base to create, there are tea-ceremony room "green pine hermitage" or native district culture preservation tradition facility "Matsuyama Culture Folklore Museum" including Yamagata Prefecture designated cultural assets "Matsuyama Castle Ote-mon Gate".
In addition, other than Kensho-hi (Honoring monument) of patriot Moshichiro Kawamata of King Tsutomu, there is bust of origin of charitable person Saito Taneyasu Matsumori who passes, and built "aisaniwaiutatokuhi" and the late Tokugawa period, Meiji and foundation of Matsuyama.
In addition, in garden, water lily blooms in azalea and the end of June in cherry tree, the beginning of May in the end of April, and seasonal flower is one of the highlight, too.
