Sakata Castle ruins さかたじょうし
In the Sakata Castle, east temple belonging to the Zen sect castle which (1478), Muto of Daiho-ji Temple (existing Tsuruoka-shi) built in 1478 is said to be opening.
Huge tortoise struck (1603), Minato, Sakata in 1603, and feudal lord Yoshiaki Mogami at the time let this rename to Kamegasaki Castle with good omen with pleasure.
Prefectural Sakata east high school is built in Castle ruins and is having only trace left for fieldwork of the school side now. (we cannot enter ※ high school site)
