Higashizawa Rose Park is also known for the magnificent cherry trees; 300 cherry trees are in full bloom in spring and then it moves on to the season of fresh greenery as the blooms fall and the trees start sprouting.
By that time, full bloomed Asian skunk cabbages become pleasure to the eye of visitors.

As early summer arrives, 20,000 rose shrubs in 750 varieties from all around the world bloom; you can smell the favorable sweet aroma of rose once stepping into the park entrance.
