As for the Mt. Maya-san (1,019m above sea level), it is got close to mountain climbing lover as "large observation deck of Bandai-Asahi National Park".
In prefecture designation natural beauty spot (1961) starting point of a mountain climb, there is one place of Kurasawa mouth on Koesawa entrance, two places and Asahi area side of Sekikawa entrance on Atsumi area side.
We are popular with mountaineers by mountain trail that is hard for altitude and prominent view at the mountaintop. The middle of October when colored leaves and Nameko are rich is the best mountain climbing time.

On Atsumi area side, we hold mountain climbing party in May and Oct in average year.
