Cherry tree of Nagai
There is row of cherry blossom trees along the Mogami levee. We call cherry tree of the both sides "Mogami River dike 1,000 cherry tree" and can take a walk through cherry tree bottom now in spring.
Cherry tree of city area side of Mogami River was planted in commemoration of the Emperor enthronement in 1915 by projection of citizen of district. Tree seed is Yoshino cherry tree. It is planted in about 1 every 7.2m, and it is said that we planted in particular big young plant on the east side of pine ke pond Park. It seemed to be out of feeling that we could enjoy cherry tree early.
